Avenues Tasting Dinner
Hey all, I promise I don't work for anyone (you can see I've been posting on here for quite a while now) but I just thought I would share. There's a neat website called Gilt City which is a fancy version of Groupon and they have the following deal for Avenues:
Traditional Tasting Dinner for Two: $295
Package includes eight-course protein tasting menu for two guests, with a visit from Chef Curtis Duffy at the Avenues in the Peninsula Hotel. Also includes two glasses of champagne, valet parking, and a copy of Peninsula Book "Beyond Hospitality". Tax is included in price. Offer is limited to Tuesday-Friday. Offer must be redeemed by February 18, 2011.

Thanks for the heads up. They are sold out of the non vegetarian tasting. I was thinking of buying one, as the cost of the dinner approximates the cost of parking at the hotel for a few hours. Thanks for the heads up. I've added this site to my favorite places. I've purchased a number of things on Gilt and been very satisfied.
