dinner for 5 in Mission / Noe / Castro?
Hey all,
I've got a friend visiting from out of town and we're looking for a magical restaurant with the following criteria:
- Won't have to wait more than 45min-1 hour for a table for 5
- Affordable ($13-18 entrees)
- feels fancy-ish- We're all late 20's /early 30's and want this to be a nice dinner we can all afford. We dont want fluorescent lighting.
- good cocktails a bonus.
Ideally this restaurant is in Mission/Noe/Castro but other suggestions are welcome. Does such a restaurant exist?

La Ciccia is fantastic with the caveat that you would need to make reservations and is wine/beer only (great italian/Sardinian wine list).
I had a fun yakatori dinner at Nombe. However it's more casual and the only cocktails are made sochu. However they can easily take 5 and most of their business seems to be walk-in.

People like Beretta (I don't - but others do, and they supposedly make good cocktails.) in the Mission. Also Limon Rotisserie. I had a few other suggestions (Foreign Cinema, Maverick, Bar Bambino) but all their entrees are in the $20s.)
Eureka Lounge in the Castro.
