Kemah-- worth going or not?

We have the luxury of going to visit NASA tomorrow and we're really excited about it. But is a side trip to Kemah worth it or not? Anything good to eat there? We're leaving early morning so if you have any feedback, we'd like to hear it right away. TIA.

    Thanks to everyone for their input. We did skip Kemah but have a couple of extra days for exploring. Trying to find Dickinson...

        I guess its too late, but while I would agree that kemah can be skipped, I would recommend Rose's Seafood under the bridge as a great seafood market and also suggest that you look into visiting San Leon instead of Kemah. Gilhooleys grilled oysters!
