Not sure what you mean about best part of town. On Tap in Lakeview has pretty good wings and ok bar food with a great tap selection with lots of tvs and varying service. You will smell like an ashtray when you leave but it's still my usual spot. Growing up in Athens, GA I have a bit of a soft spot for Loco's but the one in Wildwood is a bit lacking (plus it's far from me).

I have problems with the management of On Tap Lakeview (long story). But that is the best sports bar in town from a sports, beer and food standpoint (the burgers are decent, too).
I've also been hanging out at Buffalo Wild Wings on U.S. 280, which has more TVs than On Tap. Mostly pedestrian beer (although they do have Sierra Nevada, Bell's Two Hearted and Terrapin Hopsecutioner on tap). Wings are smaller than On Tap. More space than On Tap. Both do the full NFL, NCAA hoops and football packages. Servers/bartenders are cuter at BWW.
