Help me plan anniversary dinner/night out
Now that Le Reve is closed, looking for a special occasion restaurant for our anniversary. Would like to combine it with a night in a hotel, so we don't have to drive after consuming large quantities of wine and can have room service for breakfast the next morning.
so far, have found:
Las Canarias: Up to $150pp for "say when" tasting with wine, cheese and dessert. Expensive to stay at La Mansion, but good deals at Hotel Valencia with breakfast included for about $150 less.
Biga on the Banks: Up to $120pp for 8 courses with wine
The Lodge at Castle Hills: $110 pp for signature tasting with wine, not really convenient to any nice hotel.
Other option would be to cab or river taxi up to Il Sogno from a DT hotel.
Any other suggestions? Would be for a Friday or Saturday night early next month.
