I am off to see KT Tunstall at Club Soda tonight and am trying to decide between Bon Blé Riz and Deer Garden. I've not been to either. Deer Garden is BYOW, so that's a bonus.

Little Sheep for Mongolian hotpots. Kids get a discount and love the you-choose-and-cook format, not to mention the free refills on fountain drinks. Second floor on the corner of Clark and de la Gauchetière.

Bon Blé Riz is an excellent restaurant on St. Laurent, north of St. Catherine, just south of the metro station. We have eaten there for years (20+) and the food is always outstanding.

Thank you, both! I ended up going to Bon Blé Riz. Excellent! My only 'complaint' was that the won tons were too gingery, but that's just my taste. The rest was fantastic.
