We have been dining here for over 20 years, but have neglected getting there in recent months (no particular reason, just don't get out as much). However, we've always loved Far Niente for consistantly good food and wonderful service. A fairly traditional menu, with excellent lasagne which I believe is offered as a special, braised meats and always a selection of fresh fish items. Michael, the manager, is wonderful and many of the wait staff have been there many years and are truely professional and attentive. I hope you'll go and find the same enjoyable experience. I am reminded now it's time to get back there for dinner!

Good to know, thanks!

Make certain you ask for the cheese - it's free (well, at least it was last time I was there).

I don't see the lasagna on the online menu (even among the specials that they list there). I enjoy a good lasagna, so hope they haven't taken it off their rotation. We've had this place on our "to try" list for quite a while. One of these days we'll finally tick it off the list.

The lasagna is mentioned by the waiter when it's offered. Bet you could call and find out when they plan to have it. Not sure, but to me the pasta tastes home-made.
