Birmingham-suggestion-Five Points

I have friends coming in town this weekend- they want to go to 5 Points and eat- they have a 12 year old girl who eats anything. They are from Jackson, MS. I amnot sure what type food but thought that ya'll could give me suggestions-I don't go to 5 points vry often-I love the Pita Stop but wondered what else you could suggest-I am thinking a good variety of foods- also thought about RoJo

    1. Well, not Rojo, 'cause that's not really in the Five Points area. Not far though, and definitely good.

Always Stitt-first :-) - Chez Fon Fon or Bottega Cafe.
      Jim & Nick's for BBQ
Surin is boring but solid Thai (sorta) and sushi
Sitar is great Indian is a couple blocks north at University; I still like Taj India, too no matter what anyone else says, but Sitar is better

thanks-I haven't asked what they want but maybe we 'll try Fon Fon-haven't been there in a year or so

Surin isn't bad. If they are into Thai or sushi, that would also fall into that price range....

      2. I really enjoy 26. They have a really nice variety of items, and a very cool atmosphere.

I like 26 but they do not fall in the under-20 price range anymore. Their prices have seen some serious creep in the last two years. We tried to go Friday before last and there was a 1 hr+ wait at 7:15 PM (yes, prime time but still).
