Restaurants who do Thanksgiving carry-out/to go?

ViolentScarlet Nov 19, 2010 01:34 PM

We're planning on cooking most of our own dinner but were hoping to get a few sides and such from an area restaurant for Thanksgiving. I got an email from Georgia Browns where you can order Thanksgiving food ahead of time for pickup - anywhere else that does this sort of thing?

Georgia Brown's

No other suggestions, just wanted to mention that while I liked my turkey and my gravy from Georgia Brown's just fine last year, I was really not thrilled with the biscuits. Can't speak for the other sides as I did not get them, just thought I'd mention that the biscuits were a sad imitation of they give you when you actually go to the restaurant.

I get apple pie to go from Blue Duck Tavern, and it's fantastic, but I don't know what else they're having. I see they are doing a buffet-style Thanksgiving brunch, but I don't know if they'll give you anything on it to go.

Blacksalt does, I just got their email, I would copy and paste it but I already deleted it. It looked really good though.

        I believe Carmine's is doing carry-out orders.

Maybe shouldn't bring it up since this is too late for this year (had to be ordered by Nov 18), but for future reference, Mitsitam, the Native American cafe, does Thanksgiving take-out: http://www.americanindian.si.edu/visi...
