Foodies: Boston Birthday Weekend for Hubby turning 50, where to go?

I am taking my husband to Boston for the weekend of Dec 17th as a suprise to celebrate his 50th. We will be staying at the Liberty for 2 nights.

I am thinking Sorrelina for one night (been there last summer and was amazed!). If you lived in NH and only got to Boston once a year and had 2 nights to go where ever, where would you go?

  1. if he likes pork, he can get the baby pig special at Scampo in the Liberty hotel Friday night and the roast pigs head at Craigie Saturday night.

    1. Recently took hubby on his bday to Sel de La Terre on Boylston St. and he loved it. Had expensive drinks at Towne first and then went on to the more low key SDLT. The staff are also very nice.

all good suggestions. I'd add Rocca and maybe try Neptune Oyster for lunch (so hard to get into for dinner). I love Erbaluce but it isn't everyone's cup of tea. Menton would be the big splurge.

      2. Scampo in the Liberty Hotel is one of the best restaurants in Boston. No need to go out.
