Calgary - Where to take Manager for dinner?

My manager from Quebec is coming to Calgary for a few days next week and wants to take me out for a thank-you dinner. (This will also be the first time I get to meet her) What's a nice place to which I can take her and a colleague? I was thinking of maybe Brava Bistro but where would you recommend?

  1. +1 for Brava Bistro. Nice, elegantly casual, great food.

My other go-to place to take clients beside Brava is Bonterra. Love their food and atmoshpere.

    1. How about having Alberta beef? Try some steak restaurants like Tribune, Chicago Chophouse, Vintage - these are pretty good.

      1. Stephen Ave is lined with restaurants that cater to business people- Teatro, Centini, Catch, Belvedere, Thomson's, The Trib (not "Tribune")... then you have Rush, River Cafe, Capo, Il Sogno, Brava, Vero, Jaro Blue, Vintage- is there anything you're wanting to showcase?

        1. Hi All,

Thank-you for the suggestions - I shall certainly keep them in mind the next time I have to arrange a business dinner.

I haven't been to many restaurants lately, my go-to being Jack Astors in the south. As this is on my manager's dime and I'm a casual sort of person, I thought I would try someplace I hadn't been to before.

So, i've got a reservation all set for Brava Bistro.

          Thanks. :)
