Seven ladies, new to DFW

How should we spend our time from 2pm-8pm in DFW area?

three are from Illinois, four are from Denton. We all are not familiar with DFW area.

we are looking for a place where we can eat while having some fun activities, such as making sushi. Doing something that can help interaction, so we do not have to keep thinking about different topic...

Go over to the Gaylord Texan in nearby Grapevine and check out the "Ice" exhibit. Very popular winter wonderland that will get you in the holiday spirit. The only downside -- it's not cheap. Lots of other stuff to do and see within the hotel, including several places to drink and eat. Very popular with tourists.

You might want to look at the map and schedule for the Grapevine Shuttle which includes stops other than just the Gaylord.

What is your general location as D/FW is geographically huge? Fort Worth (n,s,e,w) or Dallas (n,s,e,w) Do you have transportation?

I prefer Fort Worth. But if there is somewhere I MUST GO in Dallas, I wouldn't mind.
