where can i buy brioche in CLEVELAND
where can i purchase brioche in or near cleveland, oh? not interested in any restaurant dishes, just looking for a place where i can step in and buy it. when i asked about 7 months ago, on the rise no longer is making brioche bread or rolls.
J Pistone makes it. The loaves are small. I think they may intend for it to be one (very generous) serving. I also think they only make it one day a week. Maybe two days?
I like lots of stuff at J Pistone: cookies, buckeyes, meatloaf... And this brioche. It's been a long time since I've had it. I may get some soon. After I figure out the schedule, of course.
There is a stall at the market that sells great brioche, both in a large form and as muffins, but I cannot find a map.
Breadsmith in Fairlawn and Lakewood make a very good brioche. Did you call Whole Foods or the Stone Oven bakery at Eaton Square? Giant Eagle has a surprisingly good bakery for a chain grocery.
