Any recommendations for FANTASTIC anniversary dinner - CT

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a fantastic place to go for an anniversary dinner. I was reading reviews of Brasserie Pip, Le Petit Cafe in Branford and Cavey's in Manchester today. We're looking to stay within an hour of New Haven. In the past years we've gone to L'Espalier, Top of the Hub and the Four Seasons- all in Boston. We have no price in mind, just looking for great food, romantic atmosphere and something we'll remember. Thanks for your help!

In addition to the places mentioned on Katty's linked thread I would add Still
River Cafe in Eastford and the Mill at 2T in Tarrifville.

Both of those have been on my wish list for some time now. Good call, chowmensch!

Mill at 2T has great food and atmosphere, but I hesitate to call it romantic. I find it high energy and loud. It just depends on what you are looking for.

On20 in Hartford. 4 stars NYTimes-read it on their site. Unbelievable views. Ask for a window table and it will be yours. IMHO, the best and most romantic restaurant in CT.

And if you've got 'em ready, you can bring your Christmas cards and mail them so they're postmarked from Bethlehem. *<:) HO-HO-HO!

Take a look at Copper Beech Inn in Ivoryton. Excellent for a special occasion.
