Dining out for Thanksgiving in Wichita,Ks

Hello all, I live in Wichita Kansas, and it appears all of my family has plans this year outside the family, my wife isn't from Wichita, so here is my post, we are going to eat out this year and there are tons of choices, I just wanted to see if I could get some feedback on best prices and best tasting restaurants that serve Thanksgiving dinner(lunch) in Wichita, so if you have eaten out for Thanksgiving or if u have "heard" from a friend the place to be let me know! Thank you, steve

  1. Hi! My suggestion in The Green Mill Restaurant at E Kellogg & Rock Rd., next to the Holiday Inn.
Their menu wil have choices that are closer to "homemade" tastes for lunch or dinner.
As far as price, they are fairly reasonable and not on the high end, like some of the chain restaurants can be.
They do take reservations for their Thanksgiving buffet feast, which is from 11AM to 2PM on November 25th. It is $14.95 per person and well worth it.
Have a nice Thanksgiving with your wife! You are not alone when it comes to families being apart or living all over the world.

Thank you so much, that is an awesome idea, one more loop has presented itself though... she has to work until one, and we live in Derby, so driving to Wichita 10 min no prob, but getting off at 1 going home changing and then getting to the restaurant would put us too close to 2 and I don't want to rush her, and I would kinda like to get my eat on, been on a diet and its worked well, Thanksgiving is my cheat day, lol, gimme me more ideas?
