Durkee's Dressing -- WLA

Anyone know where to get Durkee's Dressing (a sort if sandwich spread)? I've seen itover the years at a Bristol Farms which no longer carries it and a Von's which has closed and no longer carries anything.

Turkey sandwiches are not the same for me without it.

  1. I've seen this around although I can't swear that I've seen it recently. Here's a thread from last year:

Thanks. Glad to know I'm not alone in
my search -- I also inherited the taste for this from Midwestern parents. I'll try following the hints in the previous thread and report back.

    2. I find it at Gelson's, on the eastside, anyway

Apparently not all Gelson's carries it. I go to the one in Dana Point and it is never on the shelf. Guess I'm going to have to ask the manager if he can supply it. I've looked at Ralph's, Von's and Albertson's in this area also with out any luck. I too love it, deviled eggs, potato salad, sandwiches, yum. I am now at the point where I'll drive anywhere to find it.

      2. I've bought it from Albertson's in Northridge a few times.I'd check with your local Albertson's.

        1. I purchased a jar up last March at either Alberton's or Ralphs on Western Avenue in San Pedro.

          1. I used to be able to get Durkee's sauce from Von's. Now I get it from Amazon. Nothing is better with a thinly sliced ham sandwich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

            1. Found it at Gelsons Century City tonight--not only in stock, it's even on sale right now!

              1. Thanks, all. I also found it at Albertson's on Sepulveda near Palms. Nice to know there are other fans.
