near Brooklyn Boulders?

Can anyone recommend a good place to eat and/or drink after an evening of climbing at Brooklyn Boulders (DeGraw and 3rd Ave.)? Sheep Station is nearby, but for some reason I'm drawing a blank on what else is nearby... Any tips would be appreciated, thanks!

Sheep Station

  1. Walk over to 4th Ave and go to Zuzu Ramen or Ghenet (which I love) and then The Sackett for drinks, or walk a little further south on 4th and get tacos to go from Oaxaca and have them with beers at Mission Dolores.

    Zuzu Ramen

    Mission Dolores

    1. Mile end is in the opposite direction from scarlet's suggestions, but they have been doing interesting dinner specials beyond their really tasty smoked meat (i was there recently and as usual the poutine was killer, but they also had specials that evening of a "jewish chicken" smoked with a challah and dried fruit stuffing, as well as a small-plate style portion of home-made potato knish, tongue polonaise, and a radish salad with gribenes that we didnt end up ordering because we didnt have room)

Depending on your priorities for the proportion of drinking/eating, i also had a really tasty burger at the Rock Shop just above mission dolores on 4th ave. They dont have a big menu - its just a griddle and fryer in the back of the bar, but both the fries and burgers were first rate for the style (griddled, more in the bar/fast-food style)
