Still seaching for late nite coffee space in metro LA!

The Silverlake Gentlemen's Thursday Night Grumbling Club (which now meets mostly in Hollywood on Wednesdays) is still looking for a place open past 10 on weekday nights, (north of Wilshire, south of the river, east of Highland and west of the 110) where we might sit and grouse over coffee and pie. (Coffee Table now closes at 9:30 or even 9, Home, and Intelligentsia at 10, Astro's coffee is really too grim to tolerate, Tribal has live music in a very small space)

Despite a level of service than could only generously be called lackadaisical on a good night, I think the Bourgeois Pig on Franklin is likely to be your best bet.

Urth Caffe in downtown LA (451 S Hewitt St) is open until 11 on Fri/Sat.

I've never been to Banquette Cafe (400 S Main St) but I think it's open until 11 every day except Sunday.

Likewise have not been to Syrup Desserts (611 S Spring St) but it's open until midnight every day.
