Christmas in Paris - restaurant suggestions

We are staying in the marais from Dec 3 thru the 11
Any new restaurants- we prefer great cheap food.

Also what food are special for Christmas time?

In the Marais this could be Café des Musées; good? for sure; cheap? , affirmative; great ? probably not, but great is like beauty and the beholder's eye.

I was not impressed by my only meal at the Café des Musées the wek it was reviewed in 'Scope but after Simon's recent rave. have decided to give it another try (yes even I can change my mind.)

Please do look around here; there are many places one can get into the same day that are lower priced and have no long rez list at lunch - vide: MBC, MiniPalais, L'Agape, 104 Grandes Tables, Concert de la Cuisine, Moustache, the original Regalade, l'Agrume - well, you get the point.
