Where to eat on New Years Day i.e. What's open?

So far, the only thing I have planned is Luke happy hour....anyone know of anything that is typically open. and tasty, on NYD?

      Dunbars!! Its uptown. a NOLA institution. Get yer Black eyed peas and greens. also fried chicken and corn bread. I used to eat there every NYD when I lived there.

        Um. Dunbar's closed after Katrina and moved into the Loyola Law School activity center. I'm going to go out on a limb and say they're going to be closed new years day. They're basically only open during school times now. They said they're planning to reopen the old location, but I haven't heard anything about it. In other words, I'd probably consider something other than Dunbar's.
