I am taking my (young) kids out next week in Manhattan and I wanted to get everyone's opinion of the most kid friendly resteraunt. By kid friendly I mean in terms of food and atmosphere . Obviosly Dougies would the place I think of first but I am looking for other suggestions (dairy or meat ok).

Thanks!

  1. I hope you're willing to take other suggestions, because the Manhattan Dougie's closed years ago.

What neighborhood are you looking at?

I know dougies in Manhattan closed but that is the type that I think of when I think kid friendly.
and I am trying to stay in Manhattan, I will be there there anyway.

Yes, Manhattan is a large place containing many neighborhoods. If you will be on the Lower East Side, you probably won't want to go out to eat on the Upper West.

    2. Side down places with atmosphere for kids? Nargila on the east side. Maybe My Most Fave, though I haven't been there. Kasbah. Noah's Ark on the Lower East Side.

My Most Favorite seems more formal and expensive than what the OP is looking for.

      2. Kosher Delight/Kosher Deluxe. You're kids will love the fast food experience like they see at McDonalds.

Yes. If you're in midtown, go with Kosher Delight, Kosher Deluxe, or one of the pizza places (J2, Rosa's, etc). If you're somewhere else, tell us where

I am from New York. I am willing to travel anywhere in the city, I was wondering If there was a place out there I was forgetting. MMF is def an option, the food is kid friendly. Kosher Delight is also good but I was looking for something a little more upsacle.

            Thanks!

        2. I was at NoiDue recently with my 16 month old daughter, and the waitstaff was very accomodating. They helped me carry her stroller down the front steps, and then they stashed it away for me. Our waiter promptly brought her a paper cup of water with a cover and a straw, and was quick to bring the bread basket, and the salad I ordered for us to munch on while we waited for the rest of our group. I'd say the food is comparable to MMF, which was also pretty kid friendly when I was there with my daughter, but the staff at NoiDue went above and beyond to make it a good experience.

Would also recommend NoiDue. We went at a time when the kids were pretty hungry and overtired and the staff was very accomodating. They made sure to get the kids their food right away. They had a fantastic menu. The staff was wonderful.
