Pork bone soup (gamjatang) at Yonge and Finch

What's a tasty place for gamjatang in this area? I've tried Joons, Owl of Minerva, and Wonjo (which is now closed) but they don't quite measure up to the ones downtown. Thanks!

BTW, this only applies to their gamjatang. i.e. I love Wonjo's other dishes. Now I've to find a soon tobu replacement in that area too. :(

my favourite is Oh Goh Boh Goel, right next to The Owl. Good variety of Banchan as well.

I love the pork bone soup at Joons. Where do you get pork bone soup downtown? Particularly, in the Yonge and Dundas area?

A few years ago I used to frequent Thumbs Up at Bloor & Parliament. They were the only place in that area that had a spicy enough broth (and other dishes) for me and I like it really spicy. Back then, I tried EVERY Korean restaurant in that strip that served gamjatang for comparison. Sadly, I haven't been back for a couple of years since I've moved up north.

I like Joons for their chicken and lettuce dish cooked in front of you. I was just there on Monday at the North York location. I prefer the downtown location... I think downtown had a spicier version if I remember correctly from a few years back.

On JamieJamie's rec (http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/682657), I checked out Cho Sun Ok. I loved the gamjatang there. It wasn't spicy at all but it was very tasty. I'll have to return to try the other dishes there as well.

I love the pork bone soup at Ka Chi! It's very close the Bathurst Station right on Bloor. Personally, I like it there better than Owl since the broth is more spicy and they top it off with bean sprout and wedge of lime. Not sure if it part of the dish, but I really enhance the flavours.
