I'll be traveling down to the outer banks and would like to know if anyone has any suggestions on restaurants open for a nice Thanksgiving meal around Buxton. I've never been in the area before, so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Open Table does not show any availability in the OBX but The Sanderling Inn at Duck has two restaurants that are open for TG. Give them a call. The Blue Point Restaurant may be open. Give them a call also. Basnight's Lone Cedar Cafe is open from 11AM to 7PM for TG. Ocean Boulevard in Kitty Hawk will be open from 3/9 PM. You may have to drive a ways but the OBX is a good place to drive. Good luck.

    The Sanderling Inn and Spa @ 1461 Duck Road, Duck, NC 800 - 701 - 4111.

There's not much in Buxton, and I'd be surprised if anything is open on T'giving day. You might want to call Diamond Shoals Restaurant and Sandbar and Grille and see if they will be open (they may be closed for the season, not just T'giving). You may have to drive up to Nags Head/Kitty Hawk...just be aware its at least an hour and there won't be much open up there on Turkey Day either. Sanderling Inn and Blue Point are a full hour and half from Buxton.
