Where to buy frozen, peeled Chestnuts?

Tried Fairway and Trader Joe's. I want uncooked, unroasted, peeled chestnuts. There are sources online but they charge a crazy amount of money for shipping because they ship them overnight. Surely there must be somewhere in the large city to find them!

Kalustyan's? Their web site lists "chestnuts, raw, dry" as an item.

I was in Chinatown this past weekend and they have them in vacuum foil bags.....I do believe they are already cooked. Also, the street vendors along Canal Street were cleaning fresh chestnuts for sale.

Call Agata and Valentina; I have seen them there.

Thanks. I just called them and they said they don't have them. But thanks anyway.

So you want them raw, but peeled, right? I will keep a lookout!
