Chocolate Tasting at Draeger's San Mateo on Nov. 20

Friends don't let friends miss out on free chocolate. And what kind of friend would let one miss out on the really good stuff? My absolutely exemplary buddy at Draeger's just reminded me to save next Saturday afternoon for their chocolate boutique which, in addition to featuring some of the best artisan chocolatiers in the Bay Area, includes plenty of free tastes of their delicious handiwork.

  1. Thanks Pilinut. I can't make it, but I told all my friends. Hope to read some reports though.

    1. We stopped by. It was small and quiet, which was nice to be able to actually talk to the artisans. On hand was Gateau et Ganache, Clarine's Florentines, a Spanish sweets importer, CCMade Caramels, Jade and Vice.

I always love Clarine's Florentines. CCMades caramels are good, but their spiced almond caramel corn was very nice - I think it would make a nice gift. My husband liked Gateau et Ganaches cinnamon and Vice always has such nice temper to their bars.
