Need Broadway lunch place for Saturday matinee with kids

Looking for a fun lunch place for Saturday Broadway matinee. We are coming into the city via Grand Central so it could be near there or on the way to Broadway. I have one kid that eats everything and one that eats nothing so I am looking for a simple American comfort food place. Price really isn't a deciding factor but again I don't want to spend a lot on kid(s) that don't appreciate food. Preferably somewhere that takes reservations.

Maybe Edison Cafe at the Edison Hotel. I don't know if they take reservations.

Five Napkin Burger (9th and 45th) would work - see if you can get a res, as it's very popular. There's also Virgil's (BBQ) just east of TS on 44th; again, very popular so a res is advised. Both are reasonably priced.
