Where should we eat near BU?

I'm looking for a casual (read: cheap) week night dinner on the BU campus. Any suggestions? Could be BBQ, Italian, Burgers, Deli, etc.

Victoria's right next to Brown Sugar is a must for Chinese. Inexpensive and delicious.

I'm sorry, but Victoria's isn't "a must." It's definitely inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. Even Quan's Kitchen across the street is better than Victoria's, and Quan's is terrible!

I vehemently disagree with your take on Victoria’s

I'm with Jenny. In fact, Victoria Seafood is on my list of places I've given far too many "second chances" and never, EVER had a good or pleasant meal. Not only have I tried a variety of dishes, all disappointing, but I've always found the service and the atmosphere unfriendly.

one of the best things you can do is check out the Super 88 food court: graze from good chinese (Kantin), to pho, korean, thai, and indian.

I would much, much prefer Kantin in the food court for this particular Chinese cuisine.

a couple blocks off campus, but you can go to the food court adjoining the Super 88 (aka Hong Kong) supermarket and get some grilled beef short rib steaks (kalbi) at the Vietnamese place

I totally second Noodle Street. It is my absolute favorite casual go-to. Brown Sugar is also awesome but is a bit more expensive (think $8-10 a dish at Noodle Street and $10-14 at Brown Sugar). Both are thai by the way. India Quality is slightly north of Kenmore and also good.

I used to go to Brown Sugar for Thai, but I haven't been in many years. I remember it being pretty tasty back in the day.
