First off thank you so much for your help! This is one of the most helpful boards I've visited and I really appreciated the restaurant and beach help.
I think I did a pretty good job of hitting most of the places within walking distance to my hotel and most were awesome!

The Mission - great breakfasts. I was lucky enough to eat there during the week and then took the fam back there on the weekend and we were there early enough that we didn't have to wait. I had the chilaguiles both time and the husband and kid had various pancakes. yum!

Cafe Chloe - I think this might have been my favorite restaurant. I loved the ambiance, it was so charming and the food was amazing. I started with salmon served with asparagus and potato coins and a sorrel cream sauce. To die for. Everything was perfectly executed and the sauce was amazing. To finish I had a cheese plate that included a sheep's milk Roquefort that was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Paired with honeycomb it was out of this world.

Cowboy Star - I had steak frites off the bar menu because I knew I couldn't finish a whole steak, good call. The steak was awesome. Perfectly crisped and seared on the outside and nice and juicy inside. The au ju made was perfect sopped up with the fries.

Benecotto - I picked the wrong night to eat here. I wasn't feeling great and wasn't really hungry so most of my food was eaten by a homeless man. I had the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce and I really liked the flavor and richness of the sauce, but I was a little put off by the ground walnuts. They weren't big enough to really chew, but were big enough that you could tell they were there and it kind of gave it a mealy texture. It was a little weird.

Buon Appetito - Service was horrible. I was sat at the bar (I actually ate at the bar at every restaurant since it was just me) and sat where the hostess put my menu down. The bartender then turned around and freaked out about where I was sitting and made me move to and end spot (I'm assuming so that if a group came in they could sit there, but no one did). Well the end spot was in the way and the wait staff kept telling me to move and everyone was really rude about it. I almost walked out, but I was hungry and tired and I just wanted to eat.
I ordered the Penne Pasticciate, it was okay - nothing to write home about.

Jsix - I went for lunch and have the chef's tasting menu. Started with a salad that was served with goat cheese, persimmons, pomegranate and some amazing citrus-y vinaigrette. it was the perfect balance of flavors. Next up were the corn raviolis. I'm not sure I can properly describe this dish, but it was phenomenal. The sauce, with the roasted squash, chestnuts and pomegranate seeds was divine. Perfect combo of flavors and textures. Loved it!

Burger Lounge - great burger. fries were just okay, but I LOVED the onion rings.

El Agave - this was my fault because I just did a quick search for "old town" on our way out the door. The food was good, but I have never paid that much for Mexican food in my life. I was a little shocked, but I guess that's what happens.

Anthony's - we went as a group during a meeting and it was terrible. I don't know if I ordered the wrong thing, but it was super fried and flavorless.

All in all a really great week of food :) Thanks again for your help!

Great report! Thanks for getting back here and spending the time to write it up. And the weather turned out pretty good too, didn't it?
