Christmas in the Keys

Markauf Nov 15, 2010 07:40 AM

I'll be travelling down to the keys with my family. We have two daughters, 16 and 13, both are "chowhounds in training" and usually have a pretty sophisticated pallet.
Looking for suggestions on Duck Key (we'll be spending Christmas here at Hawk's Cay Resort) and Key West.
Any and all suggestions for breakfasts, lunches and dinners would be appreciated.

I agree with the recommendation of Alabama Jacks on the way down to the Keys. It is a fun diversion on the trip.
From Hawk's Cay, it is only about 5 - 10 minutes to Keys Fisheries in Marathon. Order at the wall and eat outside at the tables overlooking the small marina and the gulf.
