Locally raised beef or poultry?

My upcoming theme for our gourmet group is "Farm to Table"- I am in charge of the main course and feeling a little unsure. Does anyone know where I can get locally-raised beef or poultry? Ideally at a Farmer's Market (in LA area- not Pasadena if possible- too far!) PLEASE REPLY with any suggestions, I am stumped.

Rainbow Ranch Farms has a poultry CSA and sellls beef shares (and sometimes pig shares). The poultry and beef are pastured and the beef is farm finished. http://www.rainbowranchfarms.com.

The Sunday Mar Vista FM on Grand View has a purveyor of beef, lamb and goat. I know his lamb is sourced from his father who lives in Fresno - don't know if that's local enough, but his products are good albeit a little pricey. He has a cut of lamb - basically a deboned rack of lamb - which is almost like a lamb-version of pork belly in its unctuousness and tenderness. It's around $25/pound, but a little goes a long way.

http://www.localharvest.org/healthy-f... You also should visit either the Hollywood Farmer's Market or the Wednesday Santa Monica Farmer's Market.
