I'm thinking of giving a bottle of Prosecco to my hostess at Thanksgiving. What's some good brands?

Not sure where you're located but two brands with good distribution are Nino Franco and Mionetto. They have a range in terms of price but all are reasonable. In general, look for Prosecco di Valdobbiadene, which is generally considered to be among the best appellations.
