Colorado Burrito Company- pork green chili smothered burritos like I used to get in Denver, CO.

I moved to Florida from Colorado many years ago and could never find a Mexican restaurant that even knew what green chili was, let alone serve it. So I was so excited to find the Colorado Burrito Company in St. Augustine, a little hole in the wall next to a gas station near the World Golf Village that makes pork green chili ala the Brewery Bar II in Denver. Everything is good, but the smothered green burritos are out of this world. I can now get my chili fix again on a regular basis.

We stopped on a whim for gas and live Mexican food so gave it a shot. The guys behind the counter were super nice and the food was great!! We had some green chili on the side of our burritos and tacos and I'm thinking good thing it was so spicy because it kept me from pigging out on the stuff. Gotta give it a try!!

Best green chile and authentic Mexican food I have ever had in Florida! Didn't think you could get real Mexican east of the Mississippi, but was very pleasantly surprised! Big Ass Burrito is my new fav...smothered in HOT green chile. Great service,too...fast!

Had some of that wonderful green chili in the Cherry Creek area of Denver a couple years ago and loved it; have tried to recreate it at home but don't think I can get the same chilis. I may have to drive up to St. Augustine from Orlando to check this out sometime...thanks!
