Essence Of Cuisine Cooking School, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

When I went to Puerto Vallarta, my friends in Seattle recommended that I take a cooking class at Essence Of Cuisine Cooking School which is located in the Old Town near the Hotel that I was staying in. Looking on the website I called the posted telephone number and scheduled an evening class with the owner Dolores Brittingham. I arrived along with 8 other students at the appointed time, and was welcomed with a much needed and very refreshing cocktail. I met the other students and previewed the menu set. This was a demonstration type class, very popular in the States, and Dolores's presentation was right on. She is a very dynamic and colorful host, Dolores answered all questions and brought the menus to life in front of us. All the food was plated and served at a beautifuly decorated table, with wine served throughout. The Mexican flavors were right on! I will go back!
