I am curious. What would you use the truffle butter for? I know that it will not be the same thing as flecks of actual truffle but could you make do with a compound butter concoction of warm soft butter with the addition of parsley or chives and white truffle oil and then roll it up in wax paper and plastic wrap and slice off what you require? Just a thought.
