  1. Seems like time for another Cubano tasting between Parada 22, Paladar and Sol Food. and perhaps Havana Sol in Vallejo.

    1. There's a cuban place in Alameda too, but i can't remember the name - Havana? something obvious like that. haven't tried it yet...

      1. I've tried it, though it was like their second day open. It's not a bad rendition and I'd go back but...the best Cubano she's ever tasted? Has Unterman ever BEEN to Miami? It definitely doesn't beat every version I've tried there.

I think El Nuevo Frutilandia actually has a damned good version and arguably better than Parada 22's, though it takes quite a while for the kitchen to crank it out.

        1. I have been there and think its overrated. But since the city has no other Puerto Rican joint Unterman went overboard on rating this place. SOLi n San Rafael is immensely better.
