Solo Dining in Panama City / Panama City Beach / Miramar

I'm taking a solo trip to PCB for my birthday in Dec. I'm looking for suggestions on a good spot for a birthday dinner. Doesn't have to be white tablecloth -- a bistro-type place is fine -- but I'm looking for a non-chain restaurant that has good food and pleasant grown-up atmosphere, and which will treat a solo diner well. Any type cuisine is fine. A great view would be a bonus, but not required.

  1. Last time I was up there(about year ago or so) I went to the BoarsHead. I remeber it being quite good. http://www.boarsheadrestaurant.com/.

    1. Firefly(PCB) is best rest between pc and pensacola;see tripadvisor as well.
      Great early evening specials.

Thanks, Firefly looks like exactly the type of place I'm looking for. A little dismayed about the many reports of slow service, but the menu looks fantastic. Other recs still welcome...

This is their off-season so I would think the service would be better

      2. Hunt's Oyster Bar is casual and has fresh seafood.
