Booking two events in Boston in June... ideas?

In the Back Bay area, so far I've contacted the list below... looking for a nice high-end dinner for thirty and then a cocktail party for about 100. Anywhere that I'm overlooking? All venues have to be within walking distance of Copley Place.

Dinner:
Asana
L'Espalier
Clio
Grill 23

Cocktail Party:
Boston Public Library (thinking the courtyard might be nice in June?)
Top of the Hub

Chain restaurants are out, so is anything too touristy, budget is pretty accomodating. Other ideas for me to check out?

Following up way late - but we ended up going to Grill 23 for dinner and Towne for our cocktail party.

Both events went really well. Towne was definitely the standout of the two. Those Lobster Popover apps were very popular with the guests (and my boss). All of the food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this venue to others.

Not sure why this didn't post first time. For the dinner, you could either try the wine room at the Oak Room, Fairmont Copley (in Copley square). Food is not imaginative, but what they do, they do very well, and the space is very nice.

The cellar at XV Beacon is apparently very nice -- not been there myself, but my boss has commented that it was both unique and enjoyable.

Hammersley's for dinner - it's a short walk in June

Second Mistral. They have a lovely private dining room that would be perfect for that, especially if you have a generous budget.

Third Mistral for the dinner. We had a phenomenal wedding dinner for 30 people there. The room, food and service are all top notch, as well as the staff who will help you plan the meal. After LOTS of research I am convinced there is no better private dining option within walking distance from Copley.

Some additional venues for the cocktail reception might include the roof terrace at the Taj hotel (prime location, spectacular views & service, can accommodate 100+), or the Algonquin Club (for a unique, clubby, old school atmosphere).

The Taj roof is a great idea. Second that.
