Recs please: near Hyatt Regency Century City?
Will be attending a conference for several days in Century City- please give me your recs for your favorite places for Bfast, lunch, and dinner: bonus points for excellent, cheap eats for veggie lovers!!! Thank you!!!
Breakfast and lunch at Clementine across the street from the Century City Mall. Breakfast at John O'Groats. There's a new mozzarella bar http://www.obikala.com/ in the Century City mall that sounds really interesting.

I like John O'Groats for breakfast also. I'd also consider Nate & Al or Barney Greengrass for breakfast if a bagel and smoked fish sounds good.

thursday is farmer's market in cc -- at ave/stars and santa monica.
houston's and breadbar and pink taco in the cc mall are worth trying and pretty good.
craft is an experience -- sometimes good, sometimes bad. i haven't been to their bar.

Clementine for baked goods and cafe fair. Fair number of veg options. Very busy duing lunch.
Houstons has the craziest veggie plate of all time with pretty much all of their good sides. Easy to split.

Just about 3.5 miles for very good Mexican and Salvadoran food at Gloria's Cafe on Venice Blvd. Try the carne adobada.

Mrs. Winston's, the salad bar inside 1901 Ave of the Stars, is the best salad bar I'v ever seen (imagine like 10 different kind of saladgreens, sprouts etc.). I ate there everyday for a year and never got sick of it. It's fairly easy to spend $15 on a full salad, though, so just be mindful. I always spend that much at Clementine, so I think it's pretty comparable.

Can anyone tell me which restaurants mentioned above are within walking distance from the Hyatt?

Best coffee shop in the area within walking distance of Hyatt?
Thank you!

Are you looking for a place to simply drink coffee and perhaps have a sweet roll, or are you looking for a place to have a full, sit down breakfast and a cup of coffee? If the latter then within walking distance I would recommend Clementine.

You are the best, Servorg!! Both actually. Also looking for a great place to grab a few lattes "to go". Any independent coffee shops or can I also get coffee to go at Clementine?

They also serve excellent coffee and tea (Intelligentsia) so all your needs will be solved. Take a look at their breakfast menu by clicking on the place link I added and go to their website.

Perfect- I love Intelligentsia!! Went to the Venice location daily when I was in Santa Monica last year. I see that Clementine is closed on Sunday---where should I go on Sunday AM...?Thank you again- I will give feedback after my trip.

You must, and I mean must, make reservations immediately at Sotto, a brand new Italian (only a week old) restaurant right around the corner from you on Pico, near Beverly Boulevard. I am about to write a review about it, but thought that I would answer your request first.
1) Incredible NEOPOLITAN PIZZA from a rare, hand built wood burning oven; 2) Incredible hand made pasta with a Southern twist (especially Puglia); 3) Terrific prices, for all foods and for the drinks and wine list.
I eat a lot of place all over the United States, and only very few equal the quality and authenticity of this special place. I am almost afraid to write about it because I selfishly want to be able to go without hassle.
