Cure query

I'll be in town soon and am hoping to hit Cure for cocktails before dinner at Coquette. It would be my first visit to the former, so I'd appreciate it if someone could answer a couple of questions for me. Is Cure likely to be very busy on a Friday evening, around 6 or 6.30? Also, is it OK to walk from there to Coquette? On the map it looks like a pretty straight shot, but aside from a couple of landmarks I'm not familiar with Uptown at all. Thanks in advance!

That would be a really long walk. Cab's are pretty cheap, call United.

It won't be VERY busy, but probably by 6:30 most of the bar stools and a few of the table will be occupied. You shouldn't have trouble finding a seat though.

As for walking to Coquette, it's a bit of a hike from Cure and I probably would just call a cab, but if you're game it's not unsafe or anything. From Cure walk to Napoleon Ave, then take Napoleon to Magazine St., then it is a straight shot to Coquette.

Thank you! This is all good to know. Just looking at the map again...I think I may have been a bit ambitious in thinking that I'd do that walk after a couple of strong drinks! United Cab, here I come.
