I found it!!! (chocolate chip cookie cake)

A few weeks ago, I was searching for a chocolate chip cookie cake to make for my daughter's birthday party (it's not until February, but I knew I would need at least one trial run on the cake). I didn't want a giant chocolate chip cookie, and I didn't want a white cake with chocolate chips in it. I made it today, and it is perfect! My original plan was to do a Cookie Monster theme, but she's not really into Cookie Monster anymore, so I think we are going to do a "milk & cookies" theme, like this: http://blog.tinyprints.com/trends-ide.... How cute is that, with the chocolate, strawberry, and white milk "buffet" with cookies?

It looks kind of like a Tollhouse pie.

I wonder if it would be easier to get out of the pan if you baked it in a springform.
