Best Place to Have Dinner on NYE
Looking for a nice place for dinner. My girlfriend and I are both in our mid 20s and will probably want to go to a nice dinner around 9ish, then be out to watch fireworks/be in bars for the remainder of the evening, so something around the FQ would be ideal. Hoping to spend no more than 60 per person with about 1 glass of wine/drink each. Many thanks!

Bumping this thread up...I'm looking for a good place for New Years dinner as well, and didn't want to bother you guys with a new thread. Basically the same criteria, though if anyone can give suggestions for slightly less expensive, but still nice restaurants?
Though Mr. B's Bistro seems like it may be a good match for us.

re: jav308
just be sure to ask if the restaurant is doing pre fixe that night. you can easily get caught into a menu that is more than you want to spend on items that you might not have ordered.
all good suggestions above, and I'll add the Rib Room and Muriel's.

NOLA is a lot of fun. Bayona is a fine place also. And Galatoire's is outstanding. Mr. B's is a fun place. I assume they will be open on NYE.
