Dogfish Red and White food pairings

Hi! I have a friend joining me tomorrow for lunch and a week or so ago he left behind a bottle of Dogfish Head Red and White. Since he accidentally left it behind, he told me to hold on to it. Tomorrow I'll have him over for lunch and thought that I would break open the bottle. I've never had it, and the description (Wit beer, Pinot Noir) leaves me stumped as to what sort of food would pair well with it. Also, my friend is a vegetarian.

Please help?

Not sure about that beer, but if it fits the description, lots of people suggest Salmon with Pinot Noir

That beer is hostile to food pairing, IMO. The last time I had it, it was very astringent from excessive oak. Unless they have changed the recipe, I'd be wary of attempting a food pairing with it.

Thanks! He actually saved my butt by calling the morning of and telling me he was bringing a growler of homebrew. I forget what it was exactly (because he brings different ones rather often), but it paired pretty well with some Veg Curry.
