Anyone had ay recent experience dining at my old favorite Enoteca Pinchiorri?
Is Chef Annie Fadole still in charge or retired?
Anything in Florence or Venice up to the best of Enoteca?

I am all eyes to read an update on this restaurant considering I will never be able to afford it :-)
Checking their website it shows no mention of whether Annie Fadole is still there, but I see they have a bargain tasting menu at 225 euro per person (wine excluded).
According to Gambero Rosso, Annie Feolde is no longer cooking at Enoteca Pinchiorri. The chefs it lists are Italo Bassi and Riccardo Monco.
Annie Feolde, Italo Bassi and Riccardi Monco are the three main chefs at Enoteca Pinchiorri. The Restaurant is still one of the best places to dine in Italy. Another great place to try situated in the foot hills of Florence is Benedetta Vitali's (founder of Cibreo Ristorante) Zibbibo www.trattoriazibibbo.it. There is also the michelin star restaurant at the Relais & Chateaux Villa La Vedetta called 'Onice' best time to visit in the summer so you can sit out on the terrace in door seating area is a little stagnant .... It the historical centre try the Helvetia & Bristols lovely restaurant and wine bar 'Hostaria Bibendum'.
In Venice try 1 star michelin http://www.dafiore.net/it/ or another fantastic dining experience is at PG's www.palazzigrassi.it
And for a visual reminder:
Unfotunately the web site do not provide an English version.
I do agree with Linda, Trattoria Zibibbo is worth a visit but I wouldn't put it on the same level with Enoteca Pinchiorri.
Onice Lounge is planned to be one of our next gourmet meals, I will let you know ;-)
