I think the Campbell location is closer to most people in San jose. This will be more of a deal to south San Jose customers.

That's true, Campbell is still much closer to me. But I went to check it out and it's HUGE -- even bigger than Portrero Hill in SF, in fact probably about twice as big. They had a ton of brands and products I didn't think existed. And, Kombucha -and- Water Kefir on tap.

I'm not so sure south SJ can support something like this, but we shall see.

The hot bar section seemed a bit small for the store's size, though, and the only other thing I didn't like was that kids were playing hide and seek and running all over the store.

Awesome, more overpriced, mediocre produce for the BMW set. I recently bought 20 dollars worth of Produce at Berkeley Bowl. then decided to compare the same list at Whole Foods. Besides the lack of local stuff, the same items came to about 40 bucks.. think about it. And I know SJ has no BBOWL but even the farmer's market is cheaper and MUCH better produce wise..

Whole Foods is more than just produce (not their strong point, IMO) and much of BBowl is not local either.
