Looking for the Best Wings in York / Lancaster Area ...

I live in the area and am wondering if anyone knows of smaller places that have what they consider to be great wings. I'm not looking for the hottest or anything like that, I am looking for the best tasting, a great value, a great atmosphere. If you know of a place that might fit the bill let me know about it. Once I have the chance to check it out I will get back to you to let you know what I think about it, if you are interested.

  1. check out McCleary's Irish Pub in Marietta (Lancaster County along the Susquehanna). Great wings, great beer, lousy cell phone service.

I'll second the vote for McCleary's. My husband works in Marietta and it is their goto place for happy hour and the rest of us will often meet up with him a little later for dinner. We always get an order of wings. I'm no wing expert, but I think it's a great place all around.

    2. My favorite wings in the area are from Joe's Famous Wings & Wieners in Leola. No atmosphere at all (it's really a take-out joint), and nothing else is that great, but the wings are terrific.

      1. Check out The Road House in York. Good attmosphere, good selection of wings. I especially like the buffalo wings. Also best burgers in the area.

        1. Make the drive to The Eagle Hotel in Lingelstown. GREAT wings. $10 = dozen wings and a pitcher of lager.
