Cheap dinner tonight around Cranbury?
I am in town for a conference and staying at a hotel in Cranbury (on route 32 or Forsgate Drive). Any recommendations for an affordable ($15 max) dinner: ethnic, pizza or anything else worth eating? I have barely visited New Jersey so I am open to anything that is really delicious.
Delorenzo's in Robbinsville. SOO good! I just found the place thanks to this board. From where you are, it is probably like 10 miles. You drive down 130 South, make a right onto Rt. 33 and it is in the village area of Washington. It is BYOB, and if you like thin crust pies, it is really good!
There is not much of anything in Cranbury or that surrounding area, sorry. I think you will be happy with this place! Enjoy!
Couple of diners on Rte 130 - Americana and Courtland - decent but nothing special .
On the main street of Cranbury there's Teddy's but it's only open till 7 . Food is good .
For pizza, I love Cransbury Pizza in "downtown" Cranbury.
It is a very casual place. Not a restaurant like Delorenzo's mentioned above.
For the record I can't let this topic pass without recommending the Buffalo chicken cheese steak hoagie at the Original Steak and Hogie in Plainsboro. Resist the temptation to go mild and ask for it nice and hot & spicy. Whenever traveling from Philly to Newark this is a great mid-way stop I can't resist.

Zinna's Bistro on South River Road (almost corner of route 130). Great food at reasonable cost. Italian dishes (entrees, sandwiches, paninis, pizza)...the food is great, the staff is wonderful, and the cost is low!
