Recommendations for lunch in Worcester needed.

Looking for a good place for lunch in Worcester. Open to all styles, but Greek/Mediterranean, Thai, or Italian preferred.

Thai Island in Holden has very good Thai food.

New York System Hot Dogs. Great joint.

Mac's diner on Shrewsbury St has graet Italian lunches and some of the best characters in Worcester. Agree with El Basha.

I agree with vino that Via is a solid choice and great value at lunch. Nice atmosphere, too. For middle-eastern, I really like Shiraz on Park Ave -- a simple place, but good service and very nice food. Sahara on Highland is stylish and can be nice as well, as long as you're not in a hurry.

I have yet to find any authentic Thai food in Worcester.

There really is no good Thai around, which is a total bummer.

El Basha is Lebanese and pretty good, save for the subpar service. I love, love their pumpkin kibbee.
Racha Thai and the Thai Place are the only two Thai spots in Worcester that I'm aware of. IMO, both are truly awful.
I know Via is open for lunch (Italian). Their lunch prices are great and so is the food.
