Where to buy pretzel rods

KittenFood Nov 9, 2010 03:46 AM

I recently discovered the decadent deliciousness of pretzel rods dipped in chocolate during my last visit to Suite 88 on de Maisonneuve in Montreal. I liked them so much that I've decided to make my own and include them in my yearly cookie tin Holiday gifts for friends and family.
If only I could find pretzel rods in Montreal...
Any thoughts?

I spotted some today (Rold Gold - large bags) at the 4 Frères on St. Laurent near Pine.

You can try IGA in either Cavendish Mall (Cavendish corner Kildare) or Cote St. Luc shopping center (Cote St Luc road and Coronation). In the snacks aisle they usually sell American-style pretzel rods. I don't think I've seen them anywhere else, they must be kosher and that is why they are sold in these stores. Good luck.

I have seen them in IGA stores, actually in Loblaws too. I live in St. Lazare and the IGA here has them. I know I saw them in the IGA at Complexe Desjardins, that was a few months ago.

Thanks! I had to go through 6 grocery stores to find them, but I finally got a few dags at the IGA on Van Horne.
