Boca Raton restaurants

I know Boca's not in Miami or Ft Lauderdale but someone suggested I post this here rather than the Florida board for more responses. So here goes:

Kathy's Gazebo Cafe
Ke’e Grill
Uncle Tai's

Any new and noteworthy restaurants worth checking out? haven't been since summer 2009. Thanks

Does anyone have any feedback on Bogart's Bar and Grill?

It's convenient if you are seeing a movie. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother with Bogart's. When the theater first opened, the food was excellent. It has since slowly declined to something overpriced and ordinary.

just wanted to report back that we went to city fish market yesterday. lobster bisque was rich and delicious as were the oysters rockefeller. we enjoyed the clean simple preparation of the scallops. the thai style calamari was overly sweet for my taste.

we have a reservation for chops for tomorrow and we were planning on lobster. i just realized that chops and city fish market have fairly similar menus and also the lobster doesn't come just broiled or steamed. was wondering if the trip to chops was worth it or we should look elsewhere for lobster?

The menus are similar b/c they are both owned by the Buckhead Life Group in Hotlanta.

I agree, Kathy's Gazebo is good.

A big nay for Uncle Tai's. They were aggressive in kicking out a group I brought there for a business dinner. We stayed too long for their tastes, even though there were loads of emty tables. And the food is nothing special.

City Fish Market on Glades and the Turnpike. Excellent seafood and great oysters.

many thanks. i had a look at their menu online. looks good. is city fish market or chops better for lobster? also, anyone know where to find grilled calamari?

Kee' Grill is Very good, Their Spinach Maria is just rediculas.

I don't know about the others, but the Addison is now closed as a restaurant...only open for catering.

wow did not know that about the Addison, it is a beautiful setting.

Uncle Tai's is ok, big portions, sweet gluppy sauces, brusque service but you'll know what you're getting.
Never tried the other 2.

Seasons 52 is pretty good, the other side of Military from Uncle Tai's in Executive Plaza. Need a reservation now that season has hit us.
