Stylish, good service, great food, comfortable seating recommendation please

Hello - My husband and I don't get a chance to go out to dinner often as we have 9 month old twins. We'd like to go out this Thursday to somewhere "worth it." Style, food, service and comfort are equally important. Our last night out, we went to Cookshop. We were somewhat satisfied w/ the food but the decor and other diners were "too simple" and my husband found his chair uncomfortable (must have been a pea on the seat.....he's like that!) Price isn't too much of an issue but we'd like to keep the total bill under $150. I love the stylish scene and food at Bottino in Chelsea but the service is really inconsistent and we don't want to be rushed or feel unimportant.

Any suggestions??

$150 for two people including tax, tip, and drinks/wine? Or before?
